WHO IS THIS NOT FOR?
Complete beginners or trainees who are not sure whether their exercise form is good and safe. You should have some sessions with a fitness instructor or personal trainer first to make sure you have a good and safe form before you embark on your individual or independent journey. Same as you would not drive without making sure you learnt how to drive safely first.

"I think what makes you different from other trainers that I have observed (never really had another trainer) is that you truly believe in what you are doing and the positive impact staying at a high level of fitness can have in your life. You are always looking at new information and techniques which can help your clients and trying many of them yourself. It seems more than a job to you – a real profession. Why did you choose me as a trainer in the first place?
"When I originally was looking for a new coach I wanted one who was focused on getting the best out of clients but also listened to what they wanted to achieve. I also asked Kevin Ritchie and he heartily recommended you. I would never hire a chef who didn’t like food, you clearly workout regularly and are capable of demonstrating any exercise that you ask me to do to a much higher level than I could."
Why did you stay training with me?
"I have been training with you for almost 10 years through 4 different gyms but I never feel that we get in a rut of doing the same exercises or routines, you always have an ability to detect my fitness level from session to session pushing me when needed but also modifying sessions accordingly when I’m “running on empty”. Most importantly for me is your strict adherence to doing an exercise properly, teaching me the correct form and showing me how to do it, before stacking on the weights. Finally I have stayed because I actually enjoy our sessions."

"I have had 3 or 4 coaches over the past 20 years, some good and some bad, firstly you practice what you preach, however you don’t mind a beer or a glass of wine or good food and recognise that life is more than working out but you also believe in the benefits and positive impact of staying fit on all aspects of your life. You are without a doubt the fittest and strongest person I have ever known and your infectious enthusiasm and willingness to learn new things and teach them too has kept me coming back week after week and will continue to do so as I see the benefits. "I trained with Kamil for over a decade, he guided me to think about training ‘beyond the gym’ and to consider nutrition and life goals alongside strength and conditioning. In the gym Kamil helped me to get lean for 100 mile+ bike rides, taught me the Olympic lifts - winning a regional age group comp, got me skipping, (I was pretty wary of the skipping rope!), and on to double-unders, gymnastic movements - hand-stands, rope climbs and muscle-ups, we burnt a tonne of calories on strongman work and had a lot of fun along the way.

"Sport and Fitness is in my blood, in my DNA, and it has been shaping my whole life one way or another. From an early age I was led to do sports by my parents. My father believed that becoming a great sportsman was the best way to have a better life under communism in the 80's. As a kid I went through karate, table tennis and swimming before I ended up in a prestigious 8-year Sport School as a track & field athlete.

How do I differ from other trainers?

How do I differ from other trainers?
I did not have many experience with other trainer, but I can say that you are very knowledgeble. The way that you motivate people to push your clients up to the limit.

I was already working with a trainer and he recommended you above all the others in the gym. You also have one of the best qualifications skills set out of the trainers currently available in the gym.
Why did you stay training with me and how do I differ from other trainers?
Your perseverance and patience. Your way of making people feel great when they have achieved a certain goal that they don’t think they could do, I for one was going through a terrible time with dealing with a difficult person and you helped me bring back my confidence with making me strive to do better training ideas, ideas that I would not have before dreamed of doing myself. Your training sessions are about training and not sitting around for 10 – 15 minutes chatting although you combine the personal side too.

I have stuck with you because I find each week a new challenge – you talk and encourage all the time. You try and teach me how to breathe properly, and you also discuss nutrition – both of these things I have never heard from any other trainer.
Why did you chose me as a trainer in the first place?
I was looking for someone technically (from a physical perspective) proficient, was reasonably fun and diverse, ‘pushy’ as in pushes their client to try harder but above all someone I could respect in terms of their own physical attributes and commitments.
How do I differ from other trainers?
Most other trainers seem to swan around without any real connection to the person they’re training. It is clearly a job and little else. I also think there are a few of them that are neither fit enough or not qualified/technically knowledgeable enough to deal with a reasonably fit person. I believe that you have (generally) the majority of the fitter clients (myself excluded) that want to have a trainer.
